The Dutch society of comicfans, Het Stripschap announced that Minck
Oosterveer is the winner of the 2011 Stripschap-award,
the oldest comic-award in the Netherlands. March the 12th, the award will be presented during the "Stripdagen",
the convention organized by "het Stripschap" in the city of Gorinchem.
Oosterveer did draw daily adventurer comics for several newspapers for many years. Best known titles are "Jack Pott", "Zodiak". and Nicky Saxx. When daily adventure comics started to disappear from the Newspapers he moved over to other printed media. For the comic-magazine Eppo he started the western-comic "Ronson inc.". For the american marked he drew "Zombie Tales" and "The Unknown" and at the moment he's working on his first story for Don Lawrence's "Storm".

Several publications will be out during the Gorinchem-convention "de Stripdagen" One of them is the new Ronson inc. #2-HC. Pages and fragments of the new story can be seen in the Ronson-inc. section of this website.
